Dr Micah Friend read Medicine at the University of Sydney, graduating with an Honours degree in cancer research. He worked for the Child flight rescue helicopter service, and as the Location Doctor for the Survivor television program, before completing his training as a Specialist Anaesthetist at Sydney’s RPA Hospital.
Micah trained with the Liver Transplant team at the Cambridge University hospital, before returning to Sydney and taking up an appointment at Royal North Shore Hospital. He is a fellow of the Australia New Zealand College of Anaesthetists; and a Clinical Lecturer in Medicine at the University of Sydney.
Micah has a strong interest in Anaesthesia for Cosmetic and Reconstructive Plastic Surgery.
